Todd Dakin and Erin Nicole Smith's musical journey as a duo started in June 2013 as Erin watched Todd play a show in her hometown of Santa Barbara, CA. Erin says there was something about the Sacramento native that lead her to leaving him a note on the back of a receipt along with a one dollar bill asking if he would
be interested in collaborating. That night Dakin reached out and expressed interest in the idea. A week later, the two found themselves playing The House of Blues in
Hollywood, CA.

Within a month, the two had officially joined forces, and written and recorded their debut E.P. “Save It for the Remix.” Todd and Erin have established their brand by writing countless songs and playing shows all over Southern California. They have received attention from press and blogs along with gaining listeners that fall in love with the duo’s playful bickering and upbeat live show. Recently, their song “All I Can Think about Is You” was licensed for use in Max Adler of Glee’s new film “Saugatuck Cures,” and their song "I Am a Machine" was featured on the premiere episode of MTV's 30th season of its hit show The Real World.

Their E.P. "Steel Your Nerves" was released May 27th, 2014.  The newest release not only showcases tremendous marketability, but also a sound with personality and melodies that only idiots wouldn’t like. Idiots.
